The Italian media is sounding quite optimistic regarding Cengiz Under’s chances of moving from Roma to Leicester City this summer.
An update from Sky Sport today says the negotiations between the clubs have now advanced, and the transfer could be done in the coming hours.
Leicester City are reportedly putting on the table an offer for a loan with an obligatory buying clause. The clubs are said to be working towards a definitive deal.
The outlet is still to say how much are the Foxes paying for the move once the buying clause is triggered, but according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, that will be of €27m.
Under has been linked to several clubs this summer, including Premier League sides Everton and Newcastle United.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio also points out that Cagliari and Napoli have been trying to sign the Roma player in the past few weeks, but it’s really Leicester City’s effort which has been getting all the attention from the Italian media today.
