Leicester City have reportedly made an offer for Swansea City striker Joël Piroe.
The information comes from Dutch journalist Rik Elfrink, who does not reveal how much the Foxes have put on the table for the signing.
It’s just pointed out that after Piroe ‘scored like crazy’ for Swansea City in his couple of years at the club, Leicester City are just one of the clubs who’ve been interested in him.
Promising more updates later today, also Elfrink doesn’t say whether the Foxes’ bid will be enough to sign the 23-year-old.
Back in 2021, Swansea City spent €1.17m to sign Piroe from PSV. Now in two seasons for the club, he has 44 goals and eight assists in 92 appearances.
That’s why it’s no surprise that many clubs are interested in the signing, and with Leicester City now in the Championship, that may be an affordable signing for the Foxes.
Swansea City may be forced to sell because the striker’s contract with the club expires in the next summer. On Transfermarkt, he recently reached a peak price, and is currently valued at €10m.
