It’s happened: Leicester City have made their first offer for Boubakary Soumaré.

Said to be in the lead to sign the Lille midfielder, the Foxes have now made a real move to try and bring him to the Premier League, with RMC Sport reporting the news.

According to the French outlet, Leicester have ‘made their first official offer’ in an attempt to sign the 22-year-old.

It’s explained that talks ‘are advancing between the two clubs for a transfer that could be around €25m’.

As for Soumaré in all this, the player has reportedly ‘given his agreement to the Foxes’, who appear on the verge of pulling off yet another impressive deal after those for Youri Tielemans and more recently Wesley Fofana.

Banking on talented youth, the Premier League club appear to be a great spot for younger players to develop and play regular minutes under a very talented manager and a squad brimming with quality.
