Sevilla should expect some difficulties keeping Boubakary Soumaré at the club for the next season.
Spain’s ABC today features a story where the midfielder’s form is very much praised, as he had a big improvement in the final weeks of the season.
Soumaré is currently loaned from Leicester City, and according to the story, the Foxes won’t be easy to negotiate with.
It’s pointed out that the €15m buying option is far too high for Sevilla right now, so they’d either try to extend the loan or ask for a discount.
Leicester City, however, want to take advantage of Soumaré’s good form and make a good sale, helping their summer budget in the process.
Soumaré is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €14m, and we should soon get to see if the La Liga side will at least try to find a reasonable deal with Leicester City, who have him under contract until 2026.
That will very much depend on a boost to their finances.
