Leicester City defender Luis Hernandez will leave the Premier League Champions ‘in the coming hours’, according to claims in the Spanish media.
The Argentine only joined Leicester City in the summer transfer window, but has failed to hold down a regular place in Claudio Ranieri’s side.
Marca have today revealed Hernandez will officially become a Malaga player very soon after Leicester City boss Ranieri sanctioned the move. Leicester City and Malaga have been in talks with regards to the defender moving back to Spain, after his previous spell with Sporting Gijon.
The Leicester City right back has been the number one target of Malaga sporting director Francesc Arnau, and player is now expected to undergo his medical.
Hernandez signed for Leicester City from Sporting Gijon in the last window, but the 27-year-old has made just seven appearances for the club. In the Premier League he’s played just three games with Ranieri preferring Danny Simpson over him.
Marca don’t say if it’s a loan or permanent deal.
