Leicester City are finally set to seal a deal for Inter Milan’s Stefano Sensi, with the transfer ‘unblocked’ and him set to move on a ‘permanent transfer’.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio and TuttoMercatoWeb, who both say the Foxes are finally getting their man.
Di Marzio reports that the negotiation between Leicester and Inter for Sensi is being unblocked at this moment in time and a deal that will see the Italian side pocket €2.5m if Leicester are promoted to the Premier League has been agreed.
TMW back this up and report that the deal taking the player to Leicester is getting closer and closer to being unblocked completely.
According to them, the two clubs are one step away from securing the definitive white smoke and he will move in a permanent transfer.
They echo the €2.5m fee shared by Di Marzio, with that money only coming if Leicester are promoted, while Inter will also save on his salary between now and the end of the season.
The Italian side are seemingly happy to do a deal in this manner as Sensi’s contract is expiring in the summer and he would be leaving on a free transfer in the summer anyway.
The whole move is advancing quickly, despite Sensi training today, and TMW even believe he could depart at some point this evening to head to Leicester and finalise his move there.
