Last month, Tuttosport reported Newcastle United and Aston Villa have included Matias Soulé in their target list. The two clubs have continued to be named as interested parties, along with Leicester City.
On Tuesday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio said the Foxes are ready to offer Juventus €25m to sign the winger this summer.
Wednesday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport backs up Leicester, Newcastle and Aston Villa interest in the 21-year-old and provides the latest on this case.
Soulé was on loan at Frosinone last season, scoring 11 goals and registering three assists from 38 games.
The newspaper says ‘everyone is crazy’ about the Argentina U21 international, and tags Steve Cooper’s side, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen.
Leicester have taken a further step by presenting a €25m bid, which hasn’t convinced the Old Lady. It’s claimed Juventus would only consider selling him this summer if there’s an offer around €35-40m.
There’s no mention if Leicester intend to return with an improved offer, but Corriere warn them that they must watch out for Newcastle, Aston Villa and the Bundesliga winners as those three clubs are also in the picture to sign Soulé.
