This means that them being linked with big deals isn’t such a surprise these days, and Inter Live claim the club have made an ambitious attempt to take two players from Inter Milan.
The Serie A champions are in a complete mess this summer, having won the title just months ago. Antonio Conte walked out when it became clear the club didn’t match his plans for the coming season, and Achraf Hakimi moved to PSG, with Romelu Lukaku thought to be on the verge of joining Chelsea.
The latter would be cover for Wesley Fofana, and it’s stated Leicester would be considered a ‘suitable’ destination. Mino Raiola, De Vrij’s agent, is said to be assisting.
