Leicester City striker Patson Daka would be interested in joining AS Monaco in the winter market.

The Ligue 1 side are third in the table and are in contention to make it to the knockout round of the Champions League.

Last month, Monaco manager Adi Hütter said he wants a striker and that his side could bring a new face on a loan deal in January.

Jeunes Footeux relay the manager’s comments and then mention the Leicester City man. They state Monaco have been ‘offered’ several strikers, including the 26-year-old, who missed the start of this season due to an ankle injury.

The Zambia international made his first appearance of the season in Leicester’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in November and managed one goal from seven matches so far.

Ruud van Nistelrooy handed Daka his first start against Liverpool on Boxing Day, but he’s allegedly been offered to Monaco, who haven’t yet followed up on this track. They don’t want to rush even though their officials like the player.

If Monaco were to bet on Daka, the Foxes would then have to make a decision on whether to let him leave in January. The report states Inter Milan’s Mehdi Taremi is also included in Monaco’s target list.
