This lack of consistent first-team football means the player could be looking for a way out, and it’s his former club Standard Liège, where he started his career, who are keen on bringing him back.
According to the Belgian website, both the Premier League champions and PSV Eindhoven are interested in the Moroccan international, and Liège could struggle to compete financially with such clubs.
If the interest is genuine, and we somewhat doubt it is, then you would have Leicester as favourites for his signature, but considering he’s already had two separate stints with Liège in the past, don’t discard him returning to his childhood club.
