During the day, the Italian media have brought several reports saying Leicester City are close to completing the signing of Cengiz Under from Roma.

Now it’s time for Sky Italia to say there’s a done deal for the winger’s transfer.

The outlet claims the Foxes will be paying €3m for a loan spell, and then €24m due to the obligatory buying clause.

Sky Sport says the negotiations are ‘finished’, and the player will soon have his medical checks and sign a contract with Leicester City.

It’s said the Premier League club ‘decided to accelerate’ talks for Under following the end of negotiations for Barcelona midfielder Francisco Trincão.

Roma spent €14m to sign Cengiz Under from Turkish side Basaksehir back in 2017. In his three years in Italy, the winger had 17 goals and 12 assists in 88 appearances.

Other Premier League sides such as Everton and Newcastle United have also been linked to the 23-year-old this summer, but now it’s increasingly clear Leicester City have won the race.
