Leicester City and Sampdoria finally found a deal for the transfer of Adrien Silva, according to reports from Italy.
Earlier today, we had covered claims from Tutto Mercato Web which said the clubs were trying to sort their differences and finally get to an agreement today.
Now it seems things went well, because the same website brings an update saying things are done. Both Leicester City and Adrien Silva accepted the terms offered by the Italian side.
The outlet doesn’t bring any details on the transfer, and it’s still not clear if the midfielder is leaving the Foxes on a loan or a permanent deal. That should be revealed soon.
Signed from Sporting on a €25m deal in 2017, Adrien Silva didn’t find his best luck with the Foxes.
He was first forbidden to play for six months due to a delay in his registration, and then couldn’t impress in his 21 appearances for the club.
He spent one and a half year on loan at Monaco, and now looks set to move to Italy on a new adventure.
