It seems Leicester City have failed in their attempt to sign Jeremie Boga from Atalanta.
Back on Wednesday evening, it had already been reported by the Italian media that the Serie A side had turned down a first offer from the Foxes.
Foot Mercato now shows up to stay that Leicester City made a second attempt, this time willing to pay €4m for a loan and also having an option to buy the winger.
However, Boga is said not to be interested in joining the Foxes, with the report highlighting the fact that Brendan Rodgers’ side are bottom of the Premier League table, at least until the end of their match against Manchester United today. The report makes sure that Boga is now staying in Serie A for another season.
His rejection to Leicester City is also reported by Sportitalia (via Alfredo Pedulla), who claim that despite the agreement between the clubs, it was the player himself who didn’t accept the destination. It turns out, however, that this story claims the King Power Stadium’s side continue to try to convince the player.
