It looks like Leicester City will be facing some heavy competition for Andrea Petagna in the summer market.
As Italian outlet Sport Mediaset brings a story on the player’s future, the Foxes are the first to get a mention in the race that could be happening for him.
Sport Mediaset adds that Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid and Besiktas are the other clubs interested in the 23-year-old.
Petagna officially belongs to Atalanta, but at the end of his loan at SPAL, the €12m buying option is set to be activated.
This way SPAL can make some quick money by selling a striker who has scored 15 goals in Serie A this season.
The outlet brings no information on who’s ahead of who in the race for now, and the price which SPAL are set to demand is not mentioned either.
But with such a big auction coming up, the Italian side will certainly want to make much more than the €12m they’re paying.
