The future of Porto midfielder Otávio is detailed by Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola in one of his videos this week.

With the player’s contract with the Dragons running out at the end of the season, there’s been many rumours about where he could be landing next.

It’s now claimed that three clubs have been trying to sign the 26-year-old. Those are AC Milan, Leicester City and Palmeiras.

While the Rossoneri placed an official contract offer, all that the Foxes and the Brazilian side did was make approaches to get to know more on the situation.

Jorge Nicola claims Milan had the lead for the signing, while Palmeiras gave up when getting to know how much the midfielder was demanding.

Otávio, however, should stay in Portugal. Porto president Pinto da Costa has already claimed they’re working to renew his deal, and when speaking to the player’s relatives, Nicola now heard “it’s nearly closed”.

There are no details if Leicester City were close to making an offer for the midfielder or not. The interest from the Foxes was first reported by the Italian media in January.
