Inter Milan’s Francesco Pio Esposito has ended up on the radar of Leicester City and Manchester United.
That’s according to Sportitalia, who share their own updates and information from journalist Alfredo Pedullà. He claims the 19-year-old has ‘attracted interest’ from Leicester City and Manchester United.
Last summer, the Serie A side let him join Spezia Calcio on a season-long loan deal and the forward has impressed for them.
Francesco Pio Esposito has scored nine goals and registered one assist from 18 Serie B appearances and the Foxes and Ruben Amorim’s side are taking notice of his impressive displays.
Sportitalia say the Premier League duo will continue to monitor the Italy U21 international and there could be developments in this case. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side and Manchester United are likely looking at him for the summer.
The frontman’s deal at Inter lasts until 2027 and he apparently dreams of making a name for himself at the San Siro. Leicester City and the Red Devils would have to be convincing if they wish to sign him.
