Leicester City have become the latest club to join the race for Torino star Perr Schuurs.

The 23-year-old has starred in his debut season in Italy and that’s drawn the attention of clubs in Serie A and abroad. This includes Inter Milan and the Foxes, according to InterLive.it.

Schuurs has certainly ended up in the Nerazzurri’s radar, but they must ‘watch out for’ other clubs, including Leicester.

It’s claimed the centre-back’s impressive displays have aroused interest from the Premier League, with ‘Leicester above all’.

The Foxes already made an attempt to sign the Dutchman in January. They offered Dennis Praet plus cash but the Turin club turned it down. The report states Leicester can return to make a ‘new assault’ to sign the former Ajax man in the next window.

Torino are ‘ready to say yes’ to Schuurs’ sale if they receive a proposal of around €30m, without any player being involved as part of the deal.

This figure is difficult for Inter to reach, which is why they have to give up on the possibility of signing him.

There’s no mention of Leicester’s current situation [19th in the table], but it’s clear what will happen with their potential approach to sign Schuurs if they are relegated from the Premier League.
