Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has spoken about his first three months in England and the way he’s settled in since his arrival. The Swede signed for Leeds United on loan in the summer from Torino, and is already enjoying his new surroundings.

In an interview with Aftonbladet, Jansson was asked about his time in England, and the comparisons with life in Italy. The 25-year-old said on a personal level his time at the club has gone well, and that he’s been well received by his teammates and also the Elland Road faithful.

Jansson believes there is less pressure going out in Leeds city centre compared to Turin, in terms with want you are expected to wear, and this includes being able to wear his ‘magic hat’ when he wants to.

“It has gone well personally, with the boys, the fans. I can’t believe how quickly time has gone. The hair is not for that, I need my magic hat. But it’s nice here in Leeds. In Turin I felt like they needed to dress up every time you would like to eat,” said the Leeds United star.

Jansson has been one of Leeds United’s stand out players this season which has seen Garry Monk’s side climb into the play-off positions following their win at the weekend. The Championship side have also put a run together in the EFL Cup and face Liverpool tonight for a place in the semi-finals.
