Italy’s TMW report Leeds United are interested in Sasa Lukic, and will ‘try’ to get him this summer.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side aren’t the only side in the picture for the Torino player, with Spartak Moscow being in the same situation as the Whites.
Ivan Juric, Torino’s head coach, is said to see the Serbian as ‘unsellable’, although TMW suggest that could change. Talks are expected next week to ‘understand the margins of a possible negotiation.
It could be that Juric is determined to keep his player, but Torino would be tempted if Leeds United or another club reach a certain amount. TMW don’t give any suggestion of what a tempting transfer fee would be.
Lukic is a 24-year-old midfielder who signed for the Serie A club in 2016. He has a contract lasting until June 2024, which gives Torino some strength in any negotiations.
Last season he played 34 matches for Torino in central midfield, and he’s a full Serbia international. Transfermarkt value the player at £4.5m.
