According to a claim in the Turkish media, Leeds United are showing interest in Goztepe midfielder Anthony Dennis ahead of the summer transfer window.

The west Yorkshire club are on course for promotion to the Premier League and will be looking to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

CNN Turk have reported on Leeds United’s pursuit for the 20-year-old and say the English club will ‘knock on the door’ to sign the young midfielder this summer.

The Nigerian has impressed in the Super Lig this season following Goztepe promotion to the Turkish top flight last season, which has brought him to the attention of other clubs.

It’s claimed Leeds United are closely monitoring the situation with Dennis but should expect to face competition from Stuttgart. The Bundesliga side will also be looking to add to their squad during the next window and could make a move for the player.

Dennis has made 21 starts in the Super Lig this season, providing three assists. The defensive midfielder is contracted to the Izmir side until June 2027 after he signed a professional contract with them last year.
