According to a claim in the Turkish media, Leeds United are looking to close a deal for Fenerbahce winger Ryan Kent.

The Championship side are working hard to strengthen this summer as they eye promotion back to the Premier League.

Haber Ekspres report Leeds United have made their move for the former Rangers man and tabled a €3m offer for the 27-year-old. It’s reported transfer talks will continue between the two clubs as Leeds United look to finalise a deal.

The Turkish media outlet states Kent isn’t in Jose Mourinho’s plans for next season and this will give the English club hope of landing the player.

Earlier today we covered reports, also from Turkey, that Leeds United have also made an offer for Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara, providing competition to Turkish clubs. In recent days there have been claims the Brazilian could leave Carrow Road, with a number of clubs said to be monitoring the situation, including the west Yorkshire side.

Kent made just 18 appearances for Fener last season, scoring one goal. He’s contracted to the Super Lig side until June 2028.
