Leeds United summer signing Samu Saiz has been named in the EFL Team of the Week after his performance against Bristol City on Saturday.
Each week EFL.com name a best eleven from the weekend’s games, and the Leeds United attacking midfielder has made the cut. The Spaniard scored two goals during Leeds United’s 3-0 away victory over Bristol, a result which got the Elland Road side back to winning ways.
EFL.com say Leeds United emphatically beat their Championship rivals, labelling it as the result of the day.
Leeds United’s win at the weekend will give them confidence going into this week’s EFL Cup game against Leicester City. The Championship side beat Burnley in the last round on penalties, and they’ll be hoping to take another Premier League scalp on Tuesday night.
