It seems Leeds United target Andoni Iraola should be in charge of Almeria next season.
According to Diario de Almeria, the manager has already said ‘yes’ to the La Liga side.
That isn’t a definite answer, as nothing has been made official yet, with the coach waiting and seeing if there will be big moves made in the coming days.
Still, Iraola reportedly reached an agreement regarding the salary offered by Almeria, who managed to beat all Spanish clubs who also wanted him.
Leeds’ pursuit is mentioned in the report, with the outlet claiming the Whites follow his footsteps.
The Elland Road side are apparently one of the foreign clubs who could still make a big move and change the manager’s mind, as well as Celtic and Marseille.
However, his talks with Almeria were enough to convince him of accepting their offer and prioritising them for now. The story claims the La Liga side will wait for around ten days until they can have the definite confirmation that he wants the job.
So if Leeds were really interested, they better make a strong move now.
