It was last summer when we last saw Leeds United being linked to an FC Porto player. Back then, the Whites were said to be chasing midfielder Otávio, who ended up staying with the Dragons.
It turns out the Elland Road side may have a new target at the Portuguese club, because according to reports from the local media, they watched them in action last night.
Newspaper A Bola claims that Leeds had a scout present for the Champions League clash between Porto and Inter Milan, which ended 0-0, with the Italian club qualifying for the quarter-finals.
There are no details on who the Whites may have been interested in, but it was certainly not Otávio. The player was suspended because of a red card in the first leg, and it was well known he wouldn’t feature in this game.
So Leeds are probably watching someone else at Porto, or maybe even at Inter Milan.
For the home side, Fabio Cardoso, Ivan Marcano and Marko Grujic had very good performances, while for the Nerazzurri, it was goalkeeper André Onana who stood out.
