Leeds United defender Ouasim Bouy has been branded a big flop in the German media following his forgettable loan spell with Hamburg
The Dutchman signed for Leeds United last summer, but has yet to play for the Championship side.
With Hamburg in serious risk of relegation from the Bundesliga Hamburger Morgenpost have complied a list of players who have been brought in by the German side in recent years, but have failed to make an impact.
One of those players highlighted is Bouy after his loan move from Juventus to Hamburg in 2014. The 24 year old spent six months in Germany, but played just four games for the Bundesliga side.
Bouy had problems with injury whilst at Hamburg, but still couldn’t get games when he was fit to play.
His lack of playing time has been a recurring theme throughout his career, and he’s still waiting to make his debut for Leeds United.
Bouy was even sent out on loan to Cultural Leonesa at the start of the season to get playing time, but returned to Elland Road after making just two appearances for the Spanish side.
Leeds United signing Bouy is starting to look a strange decision and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he moved on this summer.
