Leeds United player Jay Roy Grot currently tops the hardest shot table for players at Limburger clubs.
The young forward is currently on loan with VVV Venlo for the season.
Dutch regional newspaper De Limburger are running a competition to find the player with the hardest shot among those at VVV, Roda JC, MVV and Fortuna.
This week it was the turn of the Leeds United owned player and his second effort of 119 kph (74 mph) sent him straight to the top of the table, ahead of Roda JC’s Daryl Werker.
Grot’s first effort registered at 116 kph.
The striker struggled in his debut season with Leeds United, scoring just one goal, but there were never any doubts about the power of the imposing young forward.
Since returning to the Netherlands Grot has started to get playing time and in recent weeks he’s found his scoring touch. These could be encouraging developments for Leeds United for when he returns to Elland Road at the end of the season.
