Leeds United loanee Caleb Ekuban has revealed he will continue to fight to get games for Trazbonspor.

The Ghanaian is on loan with the Turkey Super Lig side for the season.

Speaking to Fanatik ,the Leeds United owed player was asked about his prospects with Trazbonspor: “I was behind Burak and Rodallega. But that doesn’t mean I can’t stop fighting. I trust my manager’s judgement. I like competition. I’ll get the shirt back.”

The striker joined Leeds United from Chievo over 12 months ago but struggled in his debut season in England.

It always seemed likely he would be loaned out when Marcelo Bielsa arrived in the summer and the player got his move at the back end of the Turkish transfer window.

However, the young forward has found it difficult to get games with the Turkish side and has yet to make a league start since his arrival. In total Ekuban has played just 24 minutes this season.

With Trazbonspor reportedly having a €200k right of redemption but it seems unlikely at this stage they’ll activate this. The Leeds United outcast faces an interesting, and crucial, season ahead.
