Valencia are keen on retaining Leeds United‘s Largie Ramazani beyond his loan spell.
The winger joined Leeds United from UD Almería in August 2024 and returned to Spain last summer to join Valencia on loan.
He struggled for a prominent role in the first half of the season, partly due to an injury.
However, his situation improved a lot as the 25-year-old not only plays regularly but also starred for Los Ches.
The Belgian scored six goals and contributed two assists from 26 matches and all six were from this year.
His La Liga stats are as follows:
- Appearances: 22
- Starts: 10
- Total minutes: 1,074
- Minutes per game: 49
Earlier this week, the Leeds United owned player said he’ll make a decision on his future after this season: “We’ll do the analysis at the end of the season, and I’m going to continue as I have been. I’m ambitious and I’m going to work until the end of the season.”
Valencia contact Leeds United
The Spanish club haven’t secured a purchase clause with the Whites and have to agree fresh terms to extend his stay.
Thursday’s edition of AS states Los Ches have already contacted Leeds United to ask about the financial terms to sign Largie Ramazani.
Online, AS update on their efforts to try and keep the attacker at Mestalla after this season.
His impressive performances this year have convinced Valencia to make an approach and their CEO, Ron Gourlay, is in contact with Leeds United. The official intends to finalise a new deal for the attacker before start of pre-season.
Marca also cover Carlos Corberán’s side desire to hold on to the player and the Whites’ stance.
Los Ches seem to be looking at another loan while the English club want a permanent exit. Following Ramazani’s ‘strong second half of the season’ at Valencia, Daniel Farke’s side hope to finalise his sale.
Radio Marca Valencia have found out the Premier League side informed several agents and intermediaries they want €10-12m.
An unnamed Italian club have already expressed interest, without making an offer. However, they aren’t willing to match the €10-12m price.
Contract, value and agent info
Largie Ramazani’s contract expires in 2028 and is valued at €8m by Transfermarkt.
He’s represented by agent Ramazani Mwanuke, who will have a key role to play in the next window.
