Earlier today we covered reports from the Greek press that Olympiacos midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe could join Leeds United on loan this summer.
Owner Vangelis Marinakis is looking to rebuild his team around Greek players, and subsequently Odjijda-Ofoe could move.
Greek web site Sdna.Gr have reported on the latest developments and they believe Olympiacos need to sell their players to balance the books and bring in additions.
Sdna.Gr say Olympiacos need to bring in €15m+ from player sales.
It’s claimed Leeds United target Odjijda-Ofoe will be one of those players offloaded, but unlike previous reports the Greek giants are now said to be looking for a permanent sale rather than loaning him out.
Olympiacos will demand a fee in the region of €2m for the Belgian, the same price they paid Legia Warsaw last summer.
However, Leeds United could face competition from Russian club Krasnodar, who showed an interest in the player before he joined Olympiacos.
