There’s a claim in the Turkish media that both Leeds United and Galatasaray have entered into transfer talks to sign Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara.
There have been reports in recent days that Leeds United have tabled an offer for the Brazilian which was rejected by the Carrow Road club.
Fotomac today report Leeds United and Galatasaray are going up against each other to sign Sara, with both clubs making a move. At this stage the Championship side are seen as Gala’s most serious rival in the race to sign him.
Yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that Leeds United have offered Norwich City £5m, however, there have been claims his club are looking for offers in the region of £20m.
He made 50 appearances last season, scoring 14 goals, and is contracted until June 2026.
