Mundo Deportivo state the 39-year-old’s work at West Bromwich Albion has caught Leeds’ attention so much so that they ‘took an interest’ in him and thought of appointing him as Marsch’s successor.
The Spaniard didn’t entertain the Premier League side and ‘remained faithful’ to West Brom.
He feels comfortable at the Hawthorns, where he has extended the deal until 2027.
Corberán joined the Championship side last October and has helped West Brom collect 30 points from 14 league matches. This has seen them sit in the 10th spot, trailing sixth placed Watford by two points.
