Over the past few days, it’s been increasingly obvious that Leeds United were making a move for Bayern Munich’s Marc Roca.

There have been various degrees of confidence in the reports on the matter, but now we have Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg pushing the idea the deal is done.

Taking to Twitter, the journalist claims there is now ‘total agreement’ between Leeds and the Bundesliga giants regarding the Spaniard’s transfer, who will be joining Jesse Marsch at Elland Road.

The fee is ‘€12m guaranteed + €5m in bonuses’, which is seen as a ‘good deal for all parties’.

For Leeds, they are getting ‘a player with high potential and a great character’, as he ‘never complained about his difficult role’ at Bayern Munich.

The midfielder was signed by the Bavarian side from Espanyol in 2020, but only ever made 24 appearances in all competitions for them.

He was in fact ‘very popular’ within their squad, and it appears Leeds are getting an ultimate professional, who will likely get more game time at Elland Road than he did at the Allianz Arena.
