This week, the Italian media started sounding very optimistic that AS Roma are ready to complete the signing of Rasmus Kristensen from Leeds United.
A report from Sky Italia even claimed that the defender, who’s set to join the Giallorossi on a loan deal, would have his medicals with the club at the weekend.
It turns out that as their journalist Gianluca Di Marzio now features a story on the Leeds player, it’s claimed that things are actually moving even faster.
It’s now said that Kristensen’s medicals with Roma will take place on Friday, since he already arrived in the city.
The defender is set to join the Giallorossi on a one-year loan. He’s one of the many players whose contract allow them to leave on a temporary spell following Leeds’ relegation.
Kristensen is the second defender to leave the Whites for Roma this summer, as Diego Llorente is already in the Serie A side’s squad.
With things moving quickly, it seems Italian club could confirm this new deal with Leeds before the weekend has even started.
