LAFC are interested in signing Leeds United’s Mateusz Bogusz, according to a report.
The attacking midfielder joined the Whites from Ruch Chorzów in 2019 and has not been able to cement a place in their first team.
Former Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa didn’t rely on the 21-year-old and the situation did not change after Jesse Marsch arrived at the club last year.
Bogusz spent the 2021/22 season on loan at UD Ibiza and was sent back to the Spanish club for another loan spell last summer. He has made 18 appearances for the LaLiga 2 side this season.
Poland’s WP SportoweFakty state the Leeds owned player has an ‘interesting offer’ from the Major League Soccer side. Bogusz’s move to LAFC is ‘absolutely’ possible because the Premier League club have given the green light for his sale.
For the operation to take shape, Leeds need an agreement with UD Ibiza to terminate the Pole’s loan deal, which currently lasts until the end of this season.
If the Spanish club were to cut short his loan stay, Bogusz will leave Leeds for LAFC on a permanent transfer.
