Leeds United are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Torino’s Saša Lukić.
Operating in the middle of the pitch as well as in defensive midfield this term, he has managed three goals and an assist from 14 matches in all competitions.
His contract expires in 2024 and he’s experiencing problems agreeing a new deal with the Turin club . Therefore, Lukić has decided to rely upon an international level agent, so that he can have a better chance of trying to get a move elsewhere.
That’s as per Tuttosport, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, who say the Serbia international’s latest comments on having ‘big ambitions’ for his future have ‘angered’ the Serie A side and their supporters.
Having already forgiven the player in August, the Italian club ‘does not want to be fooled’. Through their technical director, Davide Vagnati, Torino want to clearly reiterate that Lukić will not be sold for no less than €15m.
When discussing his suitors, Leeds United are named. It’s claimed that Jesse Marsch’s side and AS Roma have ‘not hidden their interest’ in signing the player.
Lukić is currently with the national team preparing for their first World Cup clash against Brazil on Thursday. With Leeds and Roma in the mix, the report says there will be clarity over his future after the FIFA tournament in Qatar.
