There’s now a ‘deadline’ for Marc Roca to leave Leeds United and join Real Betis, according to reports from Spain.
Estadio Deportivo claims the transfer is now ‘a matter of time’, as it’s been a while since he decided to make the switch to the La Liga side.
Betis are just sorting some departures before officially bringing Roca from Leeds, and the report says the Spanish club are hoping to have him by July 4th, when they start the preseason with the medical tests.
It turns out that since the Whites start their work on Sunday, the midfielder is supposed to be with the squad.
Now we wait and see if the clubs will actually call him up, since there’s already an agreement for the transfer.
Roca is expected to join Betis on a loan deal, and according to Estadio Deportivo, there will also be a buying option included.
For now, it isn’t said how much the La Liga side would need to spend to make the transfer permanent, and the report just highlights how excited the player is to restart his career in his home country.
