Leeds man ‘will be out for a long time’ after injury tests return – Sidelined for ‘at least a month’

On Tuesday, we got to see the first updates surrounding the injury of Leeds United loanee Rasmus Kristensen, who is currently on loan at AS Roma.

The player was forced to come off in the game against AC Monza after 27 minutes, with some further tests needed to be done to work out how long the Dane would be out for.

The first reports suggested the Leeds man would certainly miss the next Serie A fixture against Fiorentina, but Il Tempo, relayed by Roma News, have more information.

They explain that Kristensen ‘will be out for a long time’, as the examinations made from the medical staff found an issue in his left thigh, which is now expected to see him on the sidelines for ‘at least a month’.

This means the Leeds loanee, as well as the Fiorentina game, will miss the game against Sassuolo, and the belief it might also be tough for him to attend the game against Lecce on April 1st.

Therefore, his best chance for an appearance could first come against Lazio in the derby on April 7th.

Not at all what the Leeds player will have wanted at this point in the season, especially if he had ambitions of convincing Daniele De Rossi of keeping him beyond the current loan spell, which would have required a full sit down with the Elland Road side.
