As Leeds United continue their march up the Championship table to try and clinch an immediate return to the Premier League, some of their loanees are having a tougher time.
One of those is Rasmus Kristensen, currently with AS Roma for the season, who is sidelined with an injury picked up in the game against AC Monza.
The news of his injury has already been covered, but Corriere dello Sport don’t seem overly confident the Leeds loanee will be coming back anytime soon.
Looking at the fitness of some of the members of Daniele De Rossi’s squad, the newspaper briefly touch on the Dane, whose situation has yet to improve.
They explain the Leeds man is, apart from Renato Sanches, the one in the squad who ‘has to deal with the most serious injury’.
Therefore, out of everyone on the sidelines that isn’t the Portuguese midfielder, the defender is the one struggling the most.
A report earlier this month suggested the likeliest return date for the Leeds defender would be the beginning of next month in the derby against Lazio, but that remains to be confirmed at this moment in time.
