Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt after completing a medical with the German club.
That’s according to Florian Plettenberg, who reports that the defender has successfully passed his medical and a loan deal has been signed with Leeds.
Reports over the last few days have seen Kristensen pushing to leave Leeds once again this summer after a loan spell at Roma last season.
The defender had seemingly made it clear he did not want to play in the Championship and so was looking for a new club, setting his heart on Frankfurt when they made their interest clear.
A deal has been progressing since then, with it reported earlier today that the defender had already flow to Germany to undergo a medical and finalise his move.
Plettenberg now reports that the medical has been done and completed and the loan deal to sign him from Leeds signed. That loan will be a one year one with an option for Frankfurt to buy the player permanent for €15m.
He adds than an announcement is expected either today or tomorrow when Kristensen will officially become the latest player to depart Elland Road.
