The Italian media today reveals Crystal Palace’s and Leeds United’s interest in AC Milan striker Divock Origi.
It’s Sport Mediaset, relayed by Milan Press, who says the 28-year-old has become a target for the Whites and the Eagles.
It’s even said there are ‘offers’ from Crystal Palace and Leeds for Origi, even though there are no details on those bids.
The striker is well known in English footballer for his time at Liverpool, where he was part of the squad which won the Champions League and the Premier League under Jurgen Klopp.
It was last summer that Milan managed to sign him from the Reds for free, and despite the big expectations there were for his arrival, it’s fair to say he didn’t have such a great year in Italy.
In his year with the Rossoneri, Origi only had two goals and one assist in 36 appearances. That’s why the club don’t seem bothered about negotiating his departure this summer.
Somehow, it seems that managed to draw the interest from Crystal Palace and Leeds, and we shall see if those clubs will really come seriously for his signing.
