Leeds United are today again being named as a potential destination for Torino fullback Ola Aina.

The information comes from newspaper Tuttosport, who feature a story about the Serie A side’s efforts to hold him.

Aina’s contract with Torino expires at the end of the season, which means he’ll soon be able to sign a pre-contract with any club he wants. That’s why there’s a hurry to get to a deal.

Tuttosport writes that since the fullback has previously played for Fulham, he’s well known by Premier League clubs. Claiming that some English sides could ‘come forward’, they name Leeds United.

With Aina not playing much last season, Torino didn’t seem very concerned about losing him at first. But it turns out he managed to find a place in the team this season, and that’s why they now try to avoid losing him for free.

Last month, we covered reports from Italy claiming the Serie A side would rather sell the player in January instead of losing him in the summer, so that could be a good reason for Leeds to find a cheap deal.
