The loan spell that Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri is having at Granada continues to be a little disappointing, as he hasn’t won a match in Spain yet.
Since he joined the La Liga club, they first had three straight draws, and now come from a sequence of five losses in a row.
However, there’s now a positive slant for Pellistri, as local newspaper Granada Hoy today writes about the Manchester United loanee.
Granada Hoy explain the winger has ‘performed better’ and is the only player with the ‘ability to get forward’. While most of his teammates, especially those loaned in, are having a very disappointing season, it’s pointed out that ‘at least he tries’.
His speed is also praised.
In eight appearances for Granada so far, Pellistri has one goal and two assists. And with the team doing so badly, it’s unlikely that he’ll get impressive numbers before the end of the season.
The Uruguayan forward still has a contract with Manchester United running until 2025, and the Red Devils should find a new solution for him in the summer.
