Alexandro Bernabéi’s lack of minutes for Internacional have opened up the possibility of a return to Celtic, so he can be loaned to Independiente.
That’s according to La Caldera del Diablo, who follow up reports from yesterday that the Celtic man could be on his way to Argentina this summer.
It was explained yesterday that Independiente were looking into a potential loan deal for the Celtic man, with a current clause in his contract allowing him to cut short his current loan deal, which runs until the end of the year.
La Caldera del Diablo now explain that after being ‘little used’ by manager Eduardo Coudet, there is a distinct possibility that the Celtic man could leave Internacional this summer.
He’s currently in talks with Independiente and can cut short his loan deal at the Brazilian side that’s to an exit clause included in the loan deal.
He has only managed one game for them since arriving, with that coming all the way back in April, meaning he’s currently on course to go three months without stepping onto the field.
Thus, Celtic could be open to cutting the current loan short and Independiente want to take advantage of that and secure their own loan deal.
The defender ‘would welcome a change of scenery’, a fact that appears to be encouraging Independiente to make a move this summer.
