It’s not a real summer transfer window if there’s not a slew of transfer rumours linking Watford players with loans around the globe.
The Hornets boast an impressive collection of youngsters, and they are always keen to get them out around Europe in order to play football.
They’ve done that again this summer with three heading out already and more likely to follow them before the close of the European transfer window.
One who will be hoping to add his name to the list is striker Cucho Hernandez. The 20-year-old has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Huesca and earning praise for his performances.
He left Huesca this summer, and the assumption was he would find himself a club higher up to continue his development. Indeed, we covered reports that Real Betis were keen at one point, but Watford were making life difficult.
Hernandez is yet to leave Vicarage Road, and with the end of the window closing in, he’s running out of time to find something.
Bola Vip cover his future today and say Hernandez had a long list of suitors, but so far none of them have worked out.
He’s still working on another move away, but his options are limited.
RCD Mallorca have him on their list of targets and would like a loan move, but Bola believe the striker isn’t a priority for this window.
That’s likely to be concerning for Hernandez, who the report says isn’t in Watford’s plans and faces a season playing with the reserves if he can’t find a move.
