One of the most wanted managers on the transfer market right now, it would appear that Unai Emery, for the time being at least, isn’t going anywhere.

The Sevilla manager, who has just picked up his third Europa League in a row with the Spanish club, has been linked with a move away from the club, with Everton reportedly interested.

The Merseyside contingent are after a new manager after the sacking of Roberto Martinez, who led them to two midtable finishes over the past couple of seasons, and with Ronald Koeman apparently on his way from Southampton, Emery seems to have dropped off the list.

The former midfielder has also been rumoured to be a target for both AC Milan (with their new Chinese owners) and Paris Saint-Germain, but Marca in Spain make it clear, he’s staying at Sevilla.

They also explain he isn’t even looking for a new contract, he’s just happy.

Set to play in the Champions League next season, the Sevilla manager is probably keen to either win a fourth Europa League, or actually have an impact on the elite European competition.

You can’t really blame him.
