According to a claim in the Turkish media, Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign Trabzonspor attacker Abdulkadir Omur.
The 18 year old has been linked with a move to Leicester City in recent days following claims they’ve tabled a bid for the youngster.
However, HaberTurk report Atletico Madrid are also showing a keen interest in Omur and are prepared to offer €25m for the player, €5m more than Leicester City.
Again it’s reported by HaberTurk the Premier League side are in the race to sign Omur and that La Liga side Villarreal are also monitoring the situation.
Trabzonspor will not want to lose one of their biggest assets in this transfer window, but could be forced to consider a sale due to their financial problems, and possible issues with FFP.
