We all know the story of Martin Odegaard, the Norwegian kid who made a European tour to decide which club he would play for.

It’s now been one and a half years since the midfielder joined Real Madrid, and as he’s been spending most of his time at Real Castilla, the Spanish side consider it’s now time to send the 17-year-old on loan.

AS say Madrid have offers from Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg, but the player wants to join Liverpool.

Odegaard’s choice for the Reds would be because he and his father were left very impressed with the club’s facilities when they visited Melwood in 2014.

It’s not said if Liverpool have made a move, or if the club are even aware of Odegaard’s interest in joining them.

As Madrid seem to have no intention in letting the player go permanently, Liverpool would need to sort a good plan to benefit from having a teenager on loan at the club. But for now, only the teenager’s desire is reported, with his temporary exit seeming very likely.
