Did you know Everton manager Ronald Koeman has a son called Ronald Koeman who is a goalkeeper?
If you did you’re a step ahead of us. The photograph above is the only one we could find, but it shows the happy family together.
The now 21 year is currently playing for FC Oss, who play in the Eerste, the second highest tier of Dutch football. They finished 19th last season and so will be hoping for better this time around.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf say Koeman Jr. has recently had some first team chances at FC Oss, and they explain he’s very ambitious.
Asked to rate himself as a goalkeeper, Koeman Jr. went through several aspects of his game, and the score rounded up at 8.5.
The youngster is well aware of the pressure on himself because of the career of his father Ronald Koeman, Dutch international uncle Erwin Koeman and Dutch international grandfather Martin Koeman.
Koeman Jr. is quoted by De Telegraaf explaining he expects extra scrutiny: “That’s because of the great career of my father. That gives a little bit of pressure. But I want to make the most of my career.”
