Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly travelled to Barcelona to have his medicals this Thursday morning.
Yeah, we know how it sounds, and Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo purposely tweeted it as if the player was ready to join Lionel Messi at the Spanish champions.
But De Bruyne is actually having a diagnostic about his right knee, which got injured in a training session this Wednesday.
Mundo Deportivo claims the midfielder will be examined by Dr. Ramon Cugat, a man of trust of Pep Guardiola. The doctor already took care of Ikay Gundogan, Benjamin Mendy and Vincent Kompany since the boss took charge of City.
It’s said that if everything goes according to plan, then De Bruyne should return to Manchester tonight, with a better diagonistic about the injury. The outlet claims that ‘the first indications’ show that the Belgian international should be outlined for about three months, missing some important Premier League games.
