Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante has reportedly been offered to Real Madrid. The 25-year-old is said to be well known by the manager Zinedine Zidane and described as an “interesting player” for the Spanish club, according to local reports.
ABC start their article saying that Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world, and agents usually use the club to increase the value of their clients.
Maybe it sounds like they mistrust their own story, and they don’t reveal the direction of their sources.
Then Spanish media outlet claims that Kante has offers from Manchester United, Arsenal, PSG, and now, Real Madrid.
The problem for the Spanish club to sign him is that he plays in the some role as Casemiro, and the Brazilian midfielder’s good season could mean that Kante is not needed in the squad.
If Real Madrid are having second thoughts on signing another defensive midfielder, it’s quite hard to believe they would bid for him in first place.
It would be also be strange that the player has all these offers, from four of the biggest clubs in Europe, and none of them paid his alleged £20m release clause in order to win the battle.
